Coaching & Capability Transfer

MBB coaching that builds internal capability.

LSSB coaching is not a support desk. It is a structured programme of expert guidance, capability transfer, and train-the-trainer delivery designed to build self-sustaining LSS capability inside your organisation.

Coaching Programmes

Three ways LSSB coaching supports your programme.

MBB-Led Project Coaching

Expert coaching for GB and BB projects

Each active project is assigned an MBB coach who reviews tollgate submissions, provides structured feedback, and guides the practitioner through the DMAIC methodology. Coaching is asynchronous by default, with optional live sessions for complex projects.

What's included
  • Assigned MBB coach per project
  • Structured tollgate feedback
  • DMAIC methodology guidance
  • Optional live coaching sessions
  • Coach-to-practitioner ratio maintained at scale
Train-the-Trainer

Build internal coaching capability

For enterprises that want to develop their own internal coaching bench, LSSB provides a structured Train-the-Trainer programme. Internal MBBs are upskilled to coach GB and BB projects using the LSSB methodology and platform — reducing long-term dependency on external support.

What's included
  • Internal MBB upskilling programme
  • LSSB methodology and platform training
  • Coaching standards and quality framework
  • Supervised coaching period with LSSB oversight
  • Handover to fully independent internal delivery
Facilitated Workshops

Kaizen events and workshop delivery

LSSB MBBs facilitate Kaizen events, DMAIC workshops, and cross-functional improvement sessions at your sites. Workshops are designed to accelerate project progress, build team capability, and generate rapid improvement cycles.

What's included
  • On-site and virtual workshop delivery
  • Kaizen event facilitation
  • DMAIC workshop design and delivery
  • Cross-functional team facilitation
  • Post-workshop action and follow-up
Why Capability Transfer Matters

The goal is a programme that runs without us.

LSSB is designed to build internal capability — not create dependency. The Train-the-Trainer pathway gives your internal MBBs the skills, standards, and platform access to coach independently. Over time, the programme becomes a permanent internal capability rather than an externally managed service.

Reduce external dependency
Build internal coaching and delivery capability so the programme does not depend on external resources indefinitely.
Sustain quality standards
Internal coaches trained to LSSB methodology standards — maintaining rigour as the programme scales.
Accelerate programme growth
More internal coaches means more cohorts, more projects, and faster capability uplift across the organisation.
Lower long-term cost
Internal delivery capability reduces the per-learner cost of the programme as it scales.

Build a coaching model that scales with your programme.

Discuss your coaching requirements with an LSSB enterprise specialist — from initial MBB-led coaching through to a fully independent internal delivery model.
